Can We Be Astounded?

Proverbs 24: 30 I went past the field of a sluggard,
past the vineyard of someone who has no sense;
31 thorns had come up everywhere,
the ground was covered with weeds,
and the stone wall was in ruins.
32 I applied my heart to what I observed
and learned a lesson from what I saw:
33 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest—
34 and poverty will come on you like a thief
and scarcity like an armed man.

Thomas Edison made the following quote…

Very few people work at full capacity. Very few give it all they got!  And, because of that, we get out of life what we put in.  We are the tenders of our own garden and how much fruit we produce is in proportion to the effort we put in.  It is not bad luck or the economy or the signs of the times or someone else’s fault that we are where we are in life.  It is our fault.  We are reaping what we have sown or have not sown whichever be the case.
But it can all change!  If I change it will change, if you change it will change.  Which decision will you choose? A little sleep, a little slumber or doing more that you that you were capable of doing?
